About ALPA Foundation

ALPA Foundation is a registered non-governmental, non-sectarian, non-political entity. We are committed to pursue sustainable development following the mandates of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) for sustainable human development for the deprived segments of society. The Foundation came into being on 31st January 2002 and is registered under the Societies Act 1860 on 7th July, 2003. It was January 29, 2004 that the Commissioner of Income Tax of the Central Board of Revenue, Rawalpindi Zone have granted ALPA Foundation its non-profit status (Tax Exemption Approval -06/03-04/4074/I). We promote happy, healthy, and productive living, building on goal-oriented self development, efficient resource mobilization of available resources, hard work, good ethics and good governance where we work.

Our vision is of a responsible, democratic and dynamic society where people achieve their full potentials, have equal access to quality food, clean water and environment, functional education, appropriate health services, sustainable livelihoods and respect each other with dignity as a way of life.

We promote time tested and relevant best practices in socio economic development, gender equality and good governance for sustainable development.
